Ration Card in Bangalore

Ration Card Application Form for Bangalore:

  • At Bangalore, there are five Rationing and Food Supply Offices (FSO) from any one of which one can collect the application form for issue of Ration Card. These offices function from 10 am to 4.30 pm on all working days. An applicant can go to any of these offices to submit the application also.
  • This form is to be filled up in block letters or that can be computer printed by paying just for a rupee as the fee.
  • Where the applicant is a tenant resident at Bangalore, it is required to produce address proof and also, a no objection certificate from the landlord of the house in which one is a resident. This is an additional requirement applicable for tenant category residents.
  • Three copies of the photograph of the head of the family is required too. While submitting them, these photographs are to be certified by a person who is of Gazette officer rank.
  • Only based on the income of the applicant that the Saffron color cards are given and no other criterion will influence this aspect.
  • The issue of Ration Card will be only for those who do not have one or had one, now or earlier. The applicant should give an affidavit to that effect while applying for Ration Card in Bangalore.
